A youthful dream becomes a reality

1986

A group of like-minded friends composes a ranking of the most famous Italian products in the world.
In this list, in addition to pizza, pasta and fashion, they indicate espresso, which has become a bright symbol of Italy. This is how the idea of producing moka coffee makers was born and realized in the establishment of the G.A.T. SpA Company, whose goal was to spread the espresso culture around the world.

1996

Successfully continuing the production of stainless steel moka coffee makers, which started 10 years ago, G.A.T. SpA launches a line of aluminum moka coffee makers. The Klassica model, much-loved for its traditional Italian design, was the first of them.

2001

G.A.T. SpA moves to Cazzago San Martino, in Brescia province, where its current headquarters is located.
The company starts developing a line of electric coffee makers for a well-known brand of Italian household appliances. The volume of production has reached more than a million units per year.

2009

G.A.T SpA closely follows innovations and new trends in coffee making technologies. The coffee capsules and pods become more and more popular. The G.A.T. engineers develop a special moka adapter for the use of paper coffee pods in coffee makers, taking care of the environment and ecological safety.

2015

G.A.T. SpA releases a new GATPUCCINO model. This household appliance consists of an electric coffee maker and a milk frothing device based on the same platform. Now making cappuccino, latte macchiato and hot chocolate becomes easy and convenient.

Italian coffee making traditions

The collection of G.A.T. coffee makers has more than 60 models of different sizes, design, and volume. The company produces coffee makers of stainless steel and food grade aluminum, electric coffee makers, as well as special adapters for
the use of fully compostable paper pods. The manufacturing facilities of G.A.T. SpA are located in the north of Italy. It is focused on innovation, as well as on environmental protection and ecological sustainability.
