Founded in 1967, Samkwang Glass Co Ltd is Korea’s only general container manufacturer of glass bottles for beverages and medical containers, as well as aluminum cans for beverages and liquor. In addition, the company has developed a range of glass and metal cookware under various brand names: Glasslock sealed glass containers, Etique cookware, CHEF TOPF premium cookware, Glasslock Baby cookware, Tumblock glasses and bottles.

Manufacturer SGC Solutions Co Ltd has developed its original glass tempering technology, known as Tempermax Technology, to improve the strength and temperature resistance of glass from -20°C to 230°C.
The TEMPERMAX technology has been applied in the production of Glasslock containers, which have increased strength and are able to withstand extreme thermal loads.
